The Certificate III in Carpentry provides comprehensive training in all practical and theoretical
aspects of the carpentry trade. Wherever possible, work is undertaken on full size projects at
Holmesglen in its specially designed facilities. This course equips students with the skills of a
carpenter.
On satisfactory completion of this course students may enter the Certificate IV in Building and
Construction (Building) or the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building). The Certificate IV
course provides training for those wishing to undertake large scale and more complex projects and
the Diploma provides the skills and knowledge needed to plan and co-ordinate the construction of
low-rise residential and commercial buildings. For more information on these courses, please see

Glass and Glazing
Certificate III in Glass
and Glazing

The Certificate III in Glass and Glazing provides comprehensive training in all practical and
theoretical aspects of the glass and glazing trade. Wherever possible, work is undertaken onfull size
projects at Holmesglen in its specially designed facilities. This course equips students with the skills
of a domestic or commercial glazier, cutter, or glass edge worker/processor.
On satisfactory completion of this course students may enter the Certificate IV in Building and
Construction (Building) or the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building). The Certificate IV
course provides training for those wishing to undertake large scale and more complex projects and
the Diploma provides the skills and knowledge needed to plan and co-ordinate the construction of
