PEERASSISTED
STUDY SESSIONS (PASS)
PASS is a student-centred, interactive
learning program offered by some
faculties to help first-year undergraduate
students adjust to the expectations of
university-level study and smooth their
transition into university life.
These collaborative study sessions of up
to 25 students are run by two second- or
third-year students who have previously
successfully completed the course. PASS
enables you to seek guidance from these
experienced students on academic and
non-academic coursework matters, as
well as encouraging you to adopt effective
study habits and make efficient use of your
