The Graduate Employment Service (GES) is a professional recruitment
service aimed at assisting Holmesglen graduates into employment
following completion of their studies. GES assists graduates on the
road to finding a job and achieving their full potential. The service is
exclusive to Holmesglen’s graduates and extends far beyond assisting
them to secure employment. As the transition from the school
environment to the workplace can be challenging and sometimes
a daunting experience, the Graduate Employment Service ensures
ongoing support by maintaining contact with the students to help them
learn about workplace culture, understand processes and provide
advice on resolving any issues they might encounter.
An interesting dimension offered by GES is the tremendous opportunity
it provides international students to hone their job searching skills,
boost their confidence and make a mark in the Australian job sector.
The services offered are designed to ensure students have the support
they need to set them apart from the rest and their job applications
are noticed by employers. Services are provided on a one-on one
basis, tailored to suit each student’s specific needs. GES expands
the students’ horizons by increasing the opportunities available to our
graduates to gain essential workplace preparation and employment in
their chosen occupation.
Services to help students excel
Job readiness coaching aims to increase the effectiveness of students’
employment applications and interview skills.
Employment assistance aims to support students in their search for
employment and includes the review of application letters and resumes
for advertised vacancies.
Graduate Employment Service provides employers and the industry
with full end-to-end recruitment service and all the vacancies we secure
would be advertised to relevant Holmesglen graduates.
Students and graduates have access to career development
information which is continually updated to include the latest on
career expos, graduate recruitment drives by large companies, latest
job search engines and other organisations operating in the graduate
employment industry.
In addition, the service is offered to employers who are familiar
with Holmesglen’s range of courses and its immense talent pool.
Holmesglen’s long-standing associations with reputed employers
enable them to tap into our newest and most enthusiastic graduates.
