What this means is that you must have:
1] completed recognised upper secondary or
comparable Year 12 studies to the required
standard (see below and page 73)
2] satisfied individual program requirements
(see pages 22-37)
3] satisfied English language
proficiency requirements
(see page 73).
To study UQ undergraduate
programs, you must satisfy
pre-requisites, meet academic
entry requirements and have
a specific level of English
language skills.
For dual programs
You must satisfy prerequisites and entry
score requirements for both programs, and
apply via the normal application procedure
(see pages 70-71). Check the appropriate
program code for the degree combination in
the tuition fees table (see page 63).
Undergraduate diplomas
If you would like to enrol in the Diploma
in Music Performance or the Diploma in
Languages, you can apply directly to UQ
once you have received your offer of a place
in a bachelor degree at UQ.
If you are interested in the Diploma in
Global issues, you will need to complete one
year (16 units) of undergraduate studies at
UQ before you can apply (a minimum grade
point average applies). Applications for
undergraduate programs should be made
through the relevant Faculty.
ACADEMIC ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS
To meet the University’s academic
entry requirements for undergraduate
programs, you must have:
1. completed recognised upper secondary
or studies comparable to Australian Year
12 to the required standard (see the
Minimum Australian Year 12 equivalent
studies table on page 73), and
2. satisfied individual program requirements
i.e. specific prerequisites (see the
Admission prerequisites and Minimum
entry scores tables on pages 72-73 and
program outlines on pages 22-37).
Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case
basis. Depending on the program, meeting
minimum entry requirements does not
guarantee acceptance.
Applicants who do not meet academic
entry requirements may wish to consider
consider taking the
Certificate IV in University
Preparation
offered by International
Education Services (IES) (see page 40).
