To study at postgraduate level
at UQ, you usually need an
undergraduate or postgraduate
degree or equivalent, and/or
relevant work experience. You
will also need a specifc level of
English language profciency.

postgraduate programs require a Bachelor
degree or other qualifcation in a specifed
subject area.
Graduate Certifcate
A Bachelor degree is usually required for
entry. Faculties may sometimes consider
applicants who have suffcient relevant work
experience instead of a degree.
Graduate Diploma
A Bachelor degree or Graduate Certifcate is
usually required for entry.
Masters by Coursework
A Bachelor or Honours degree is usually
required for entry.
Professional Doctorate
A Bachelor degree with Honours I or IIA is
usually required for entry, plus two years of
relevant professional experience.
Additional requirements
Some programs have additional
requirements that need to be met for
admission. This may be in the form of,
for example, specifc work experience,
profciency in another language, portfolio
submission, or interview.
