Admission requirements
Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours I or IIA) or equivalent and minimum two years of graduate clinical
experience. Overseas trained applicants may be required to undertake a theory and clinical skills
assessment (contact the School of Dentistry for further information). You must provide serological
evidence that you do not carry blood-borne transmissible viruses (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV).
Quota: Up to two international students may be accepted in each discipline.

Special note: Due to limited places, offers will only be made after the closing date of April 30. Dental Board of Australia policy prevents dentists carrying blood-borne
viruses from undertaking invasive procedures, the defnition of which includes most aspects of clinical dentistry. You must be registered with the Dental Board of Australia
for the duration of the program. TB screening is also required in accordance with Queensland Health recommendations. You must complete an Apply frst aid certifcate
and schedule of immunisations*** prior to your studies and a CPR competency recertifcation course prior to the second and third years of the program.
Placements: Outplacement to hospitals such as the Royal Brisbane and Women’s, and Royal Children’s Hospitals, Brisbane Private Hospital, Queensland Health
facilities and external healthcare establishments in Brisbane will occur as part of the discipline training.
Additional costs: Annual CPR recertifcation (approximately $55); Dental Board registration (approximate total $2005 based on 2012 fees); Apply frst aid certifcate
including CPR (approximately $155); shortlisted applicants may undertake a clinical competency assessment as part of the selection process, an examination fee of
$3500 will be charged: successful applicants will have the fee deducted from their tuition fees; Digital SLR clinical camera ($3000-$4000)

Accredited with Exercise and Sport Sciences Australia (ESSA)^^, the peak professional body for exercise and sports science
in Australia, this program prepares you for work as an exercise physiologist, a profession that focuses on the use of physical
activity and exercise to prevent and manage chronic health conditions, including cardiovascular disease (e.g., diabetes mellitis
and coronary heart disease), musculoskeletal injury (e.g., lower back pain) and neurological impairment (e.g., spinal cord injury,
brain injury).

These programs provide you with knowledge, skills and abilities to practise effectively as a clinical pharmacy practitioner
involved in medicine use and pharmaceutical care. A major strength of these programs is the emphasis on clinical practice and
evidence-based medicine. You will attend one day of clinical placements per week in the frst two semesters of the program.
