assessed in simulated interviews, practice examinations

The Level 5 and 6 General English classes can prepare
you for the Cambridge Examinations throughout the
year. A ten-week enrolment is recommended to
maximise exam performance.
The Institute is also a Cambridge online test
centre. Please contact student services for
details of available test dates.
In Japan we don’t have much time to practise speaking
English, only grammar and writing. Here, I have a lot of
opportunities to practise the most important skill. My
teachers are great, they know that we are nervous and living
in a different environment and encourage us to speak up and
express ourselves in English. They care about how we are
feeling, our life and not just our studies.
