The University reviews entry requirements annually. The
scores listed above are correct at time of printing but
are subject to variation: these scores generally apply to
applicants who are offshore with qualifcations considered
to be the equivalent of Queensland Year 12.
1 UK A Levels – Aggregate of best three A Level subjects
or a combination of A and AS Level subjects equivalent
to three A Level subjects, where A*=5, A=5, B=4, C=3,
D=2, E=1
2 Singapore A Levels - aggregate of best three H2
subjects and best one H1 subject; for H2 subjects,
A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1; for H1 subjects, the
notional value is half of that assigned to H2 subjects
3 Malaysian STPM – aggregate of best three subjects,
where A=4.00, A-=3.67, B+=3.33, B=3.00, B-=2.67,
C+=2.33, C=2.00
4 IB – International Baccalaureate
5 French Baccalauréat – average, with 10 as the pass mark
6 HKDSE – grade average of the best fve subjects
(Category A, B or C), where 5*, 5** = 6, 5=5, 4=4, 3=3,
2=2=, 1=1; A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1, Attained
with Distinction = 3, Attained = 1
7 India – grade average in best four subjects, converted
to a percentage where 35% equals a pass
8 Music – Entry on the basis of specifed requirements,
an audition, interview and musicianship test
^ These programs have quota restrictions and entry is
very competitive: the fgures quoted are a guide only
and applications will be assessed on a case-by-case
basis
