STUDYABROAD
If you are an international student
currently enrolled at an accredited
overseas university, you may be eligible
to study at The University of Queensland
for one or two semesters under the
Study Abroad program.
In 2014 Study Abroad tuition fees are
AUD$10,400 per semester regardless of
the number of courses taken. Credit gained
at UQ is usually transferred towards your
degree at your home university, where
you will continue to pay your tuition fees.
A standard full-time study load for one
semester at UQ is eight units (which usually
equates to four courses).

Eligibility criteria
Academic eligibility
To meet the academic eligibility
requirements, you must:
– have completed at least one full-time
year of study at an accredited university
– be enrolled at an accredited university
– have average to above-average results
in university studies to date
– meet specifc course prerequisites for
admission into certain courses.
English language requirements
You must meet the English language
profciency requirements outlined opposite.
INCOMINGEXCHANGE
TOUQ
If your university has an exchange
agreement with UQ, as an international
student currently enrolled at an
accredited overseas university, you may
be eligible to study at The University of
Queensland for one or two semesters.
See page 86 for a list of overseas
universities that hold exchange agreements
with UQ. Credit gained at UQ is usually
transferred towards your degree at your
home university, where you will continue to
pay your tuition fees.
Eligibility criteria, both academic and
English language requirements, is the same
as for Study Abroad except that you must
be nominated by your home university.
