This program is designed to help you communicate
effectively in an English speaking health context.
This program is ideal for people who are preparing for
the Occupational English Test (OET) including doctors,
dentists, nurses, veterinarians, physiotherapists, pharmacists,
occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians,
radiographers and optometrists.
content of the Program
The program focuses on developing speaking, listening,
reading and writing skills and provides OET test practice.
Activities include health professional - client roleplays,
listening to consultations and lectures, reading health related
texts, analysis of case notes and writing of referral letters.
There is an emphasis on developing an understanding of
the Australian cultural and medical context.
