UNSW Foundation Studies can provide
secure accommodation of the highest
quality in our residential college in
Kensington. Our residential college
(also known as UniLodge@UNSW)
is specifcally designed for UNSW
Foundation Studies students, and
is ideal for under-18-year-olds.
Just fve minutes walking distance from the campus, the
residential college has a high-security entrance with restricted
access to each residential foor, and a 24-hour security service.
In addition, it has on-site management and live-in residential
advisers who provide a high level of care for students.
Please note that the residential college apartments are
alcohol free premises.
The weekly rates are inclusive of full rental, all utilities
(electricity, water, gas, etc.), fortnightly apartment cleaning,
linen and laundry services, telephone and data connection,
and 24 hours security. Students are also provided with a full
schedule of events and activities.
The residential college apartments are fully-equipped: each
with a LCD television, refrigerator, microwave oven, and cook
top. Each bedroom is single occupancy with its own lock and
telephone, and with connection for television and high-speed
broadband internet (UNSW Uni-Web). Many apartments have
private bathrooms, balconies, and air conditioning is provided
in all apartments.
The residential complex also contains communal study and
recreation areas and adjacent commercial outlets such as
cafés, convenience stores and banking facilities.
