Recognition of UNSW
Foundation Studies
Starting Your University Degree
University Placement by Student Advisers
Towards the end of the UNSW Foundation Studies programs,
the student advisers arrange a Faculty Information Day
and seminars. At these events students receive frst-hand
information about the many undergraduate programs
the university offers, and are able to talk directly to the
representatives of the different faculties. The student advisers
are available to discuss preferences with students before
university placement is made.
Once the fnal UNSW Foundation Studies results are released,
the student advisers assist in the placement of students into a
nominated university degree program.
Undergraduate Entry
Semester 1 (March) and Semester 2 (July)
UNSW Foundation Studies has programs for university entry
into Semester 1 (March) and also mid-year entry into Semester
2 (July). Main university entry is Semester 1, though many
university programs also offer entry in Semester 2. See the list
of programs on pages 26–29; programs offered for mid-year
Semester 2 (July) entry are shown with +.
