Victorian Certifcate of Education

further study or training at university or TAFE and to employment.
Upon successful completion of the VCE, students have a choice

several countries in Asia, Europe and North America for admission

The VCE award and results
Year 11 results are provided as part of an offcial statement
of results. Year 11 unit results are awarded as either ‘S’ for

satisfactorily completed.
Year 12 results are a score from zero to 50, which shows how
a student performed in each of unit 3 or 4 relative to all other
Victorian students enrolled in that same study in a result year. It
is based on the student’s results in school-based assessments
and examinations. The Year 12 statement of results also includes
